sorry the blog’s been a bit dead lately. crazy busy with work. hopefully will be back to some semblance of regular posting within the next two months, even if only at weekends. thanks friends!

After I messed with my room, I had time to start on a commission for Garrus Vakarian from Mass Effect. Here’s his little head sitting on my skully cup while the paint dries. This was my first time painting on fleece and it worked a lot better than I was thinking it would. This may be the answer to my spiderbutt Darth Maul tattoo problem. (I am a little obsessed with making a spiderbutt Darth Maul, because that would be the creepy cutest plush.)

So here’s kind of the play-by-play. I realized once I was done I didn’t take any pictures of making the wound, but it’s really sloppy anyway. :P Like I said earlier, I’m not incredibly thrilled with my work here. A lot of mistakes were made (the nose, chin and jaw could have been executed better), but I had fun, and I like the way it looks. I’m happy enough for a job without prosthetics. I should really learn how to make those.

okay so my little sister is a huge dragon age and mass effect fan
tonight she drew some of her fav characters for me and i think they’re cute okif you can’t tell it’s fenris, alistair, garrus, thane, kaidan and anders [anders is her fav man ever that’s why his portrait is the most detailed]
PS. kaidan’s says ‘oops shepard’s coming, i better wipe my face!’ cos you know how in me1 he always wiped his forehead when you wanted to talk to him yeah
